Choose Your Own Adventure is going to some secret sessions in late August; we haven’t determined to which studio we’ll be going.
Check back for updates. We do that regularly.
Okay, so I lied. I’m sorry. We didn’t update the site as often as we should have, but… I mean, hey. Our accordion player is in Spain somewhere. Gimme a break.
On top of all that, our recording dates are set for September 24th, or something… late in September anyway. We’re recording three songs.
New shows:
September 15, saturday
Private party c/o Joe Kogut (Audubon, NJ)
Bands – CYOA, Terminal Velocipede, others TBA
October 26
Camden County College
Bands TBA
Stay tuned for additional updates [pictures, mp3s, and other nice little things].

I haven’t even told the band about this yet so it’s up in the air! Go to the show anyway!
Well, the September 1st show is officially happening. Please take care in getting there, and check out our other shows in the shows section of the site.
Well, duh.
By the way, the Evergreen Irish Pub is right across the street from Bill’s Wonderland of Pets. Just so you know. See you there!
Argh.
Well, the Evergreen Irish Pub show did not go exactly according to plan, but it rocked in a whole other way – much more fiercely than was expected. Special thanks to Atom Bomb Mother and their bass player for providing the living room (tee hee!) in which we played.
Also, just about anybody who wants to come to Joe Kogut’s party on the 15th and see us (or any of the other bands) is welcome. Other bands playing are Orpheus, Drive Thru Pharmacy, and The Cherry Tarts. The show is in Audubon, NJ.
“the address is the big yellow house on the 200 block of west graisbury ave in audubon with all the people in the back. i think it’s 248. or 254. i don’t remember which. ”
– Lou DiDomenico of DTP
We’ve got a message board up and running, so go check it out.
I’ll link it on the navigation panel in a few days, so until then just go there from the main page (i.e. this page – click on the words “message board”).
Nothing else new, just the coming show on Saturday. Be there!

This EP was recorded prior to the band renaming to Chromelodeon, and has been referred to the”Adventures In a Haunted House” EP. The title of this archive entry reflects the CD release artwork. CD releases of this EP did not include Papa So Get Angry.

Band: Hey Dino, why didn’t you update the website?
Me: Ugh… I’m sick. Call me later.
Band: Hey Dino, why aren’t you updating our website?
Me: … well, I uh, I’m kinda busy now.
Band: Hey Dino, update the fucking website or you’re out of the band.
Me: 🙁 *sigh*
So anyway, I’m sorry. Big news ahead!
First of all, we cut a demo. Three songs, and a super secret song which we will probably put up on mp3.com or something. It sounds awesome. We’re selling it for $1, methinks… maybe $2.
Also, we have to change our name. There already is a Choose Your Own Adventure, and they’re in our area. Oh well. Good luck, Other Choose Your Own Adventure. E-mail us with suggestions! Or to ask us about playing a show, for that matter!
Lastly, we’re playing (yet another) backyard show this coming saturday, the 12th, at Summer Smith’s house in BALTIMORE?!?! That’s right, Baltimore. Can you say road trip? We can.
The new website is (finally) updated and operational. It’s about time, hmm? Anyways, here’s the news in brief…
You’ll notice two options of the site marked “Media” and “Articles”. For now, the Media section just links to our mp3.com page, but it will eventually contain a few things like pictures from practice and performances, songs we cover (in mp3 format), and maybe a video of something ridiculous. By the way, do visit the mp3.com page (http://www.mp3.com/chromelodeon). Though it is the same three songs that can be found on the demo, the more that people listen to us on the website, the better chance that others will find us and give us a listen.
The articles section is probably the most in-depth view of the band that one could possibly gain from this website, as the writings therein are not written about them, but by them. This will be a regularly updated portion of the site.
Last (but specifically not least), we are proud to introduce Chris Singer as the seventh member of the band. He runs our lights and projectors. Also, he is hard to dislike (which is certainly a plus!).
Be sure to check back regularly as this site is ever-expanding.
Sincerely,
The Webmaster
